Wooden cafes perched right over the rushing Parvati River serve banana pancakes, hummus, and chai to a crowd of long-term backpackers — the quintessential Kasol way to spend an afternoon doing absolutely nothing.

Israeli Cafe Food Trail

Kasol's bazaar is lined with Israeli-run cafes serving shakshuka, falafel, and hummus platters — a legacy of decades of Israeli backpacker traffic through the Parvati Valley, and now a destination cuisine in its own right.

Chalal Village Walk

A short, scenic walk along the river and across a log bridge to a car-free village where wooden Himachali houses cling to the hillside — quieter and more traditional than Kasol itself.

Kheerganga Trek & Hot Springs

A 12km forest trail climbing to 2,950m rewards hikers with natural hot spring pools beside a small Shiva temple — soak sore muscles while looking out over snow-dusted peaks, ideally after an overnight camp.

Tosh Village

A cluster of wooden houses perched dramatically on a hillside at the edge of the Parvati Valley — narrow lanes, apple orchards, and panoramic views make it one of the valley's most photogenic villages.
