Dhikala Zone Jeep Safari

Corbett's most famous safari zone — vast Chaur grasslands along the Ramganga River offer the park's best chances of spotting tigers, elephant herds, and deer against a backdrop of forested hills.

Ramganga Reservoir Viewpoint

A wide, tranquil reservoir within the Dhikala zone where elephants, crocodiles, and a huge variety of waterbirds gather, especially in the early morning and late afternoon light.

Bijrani Zone Safari

One of Corbett's most accessible and popular zones for a single-day visit — dense sal forest and open meadows with consistently good sightings of tigers, leopards, and elephants.

Jhirna Zone Safari

The only zone open year-round, including monsoon — drier terrain than Dhikala means more open sightlines, making it a reliable choice whenever you visit.

Sitabani Buffer Zone Walk

Unlike the core zones, Sitabani permits walking safaris and is free of jeep traffic — a peaceful forest of giant sal trees, an ancient temple linked to the Ramayana, and excellent birdwatching.

Corbett Museum, Kaladhungi

The former winter home of Jim Corbett, the hunter-turned-conservationist after whom the park is named — personal artefacts, hunting rifles, and photographs tell the story of the man who tracked the "man-eaters of Kumaon".
